Bio
Hi, I’m Jaiden Baynes, a failing Computer Science student who writes books in my free time. I write both award-winning fiction and nonfiction from time to time. My nonfiction writing comes from my love of history, sociology, and so on and my fiction writing is just me repackaging and beating people over the head with the messages from my nonfiction writing.
I’m the type of history nerd that tries to impress people with useless pieces of trivia and now I can get people to pay me to tell them history trivia. Yay.
If you can’t tell, I don’t take myself all that seriously. It’s important to have fun when there is so much dour and depressing stuff out there after all. But even with the darker subject matter my books can cover at times, I ultimately hope to educate and inspire people to make the world a better place.

Editorial Reviews
“Enemies of Africa is a well-researched and planned work of pure fact. I thought I knew a lot about the slave trade, but there is so much that the history classes left out. This eye-opening book filled in all the blanks, and I am more educated on the slave trade now than I ever was by a textbook.” – Literary Titan
“What I liked most about this book is that the author kept me interested throughout the book. This book was filled with history lessons that were both gut-wrenching and fascinating.” – OnlineBookClub.org
“A robust overview of Europe’s history of racism and exploitation.” – Kirkus Review

Enemies of Africa
Goldmine of information on Africa’s painful history
Hey there! I recently picked up “Enemies of Africa: Second Edition” by Jaiden Baynes, and I have to say, it’s been a deep dive into Africa’s painful history. I got the book to help my kid with a school presentation for Africa Day, and what I found was an incredibly detailed and eye-opening account of Africa’s troubled past and its ongoing struggles. This book has been a goldmine of information and insights for my child’s school presentation.
One of the central themes of our scientific work is comparing the sufferings of Africans due to past slavery and colonialism with modern forms of discrimination and exploitation. Baynes’ book is perfect for this. The exploitation methods may have changed, but the essence remains the same—control and benefit at the expense of African people’s welfare and autonomy.
I highly recommend this book if you want to understand Africa’s history and current challenges better. It’s an enlightening read that brings much-needed awareness to the continued struggles of African peoples.
Gods and Monsters: Terra Solaris
Epic Saga of Deity and Deception
Jaiden Baynes’ Gods and Monsters: Terra Solaris is a thrilling reinterpretation of Greek mythology that captures the essence of ancient epics with a modern twist. The alliance between Terra and Hades against Zeus is crafted with intense drama and deep political intrigue, making this more than just a mythological tale—it’s a story of power, betrayal, and hope. A must-read for those who crave a fresh take on the gods of old.
